Discovering our Vision: Transforming Passion into Action
In December 2023, we embarked on a journey to redefine Hyacinth's Holistic Health, driven by our passion for empowering girls and women and curating luxurious holistic experiences in nature. It was a moment of deep soul searching, prayer, and meditation that led us to expand our focus and create platforms for girls and young women to use their voices confidently.
Inspired by our experience co-creating the "Big Dreamers, Little Legacy" mentorship program, we witnessed the transformative power of building esteem, character, and sisterhood. This dynamic, rooted in our "big sister, little sister" approach, fueled our desire to do more.
Reflecting on my childhood memories at Cedar Grove Elementary in Ellenwood, GA, I was reminded of the song "Lift Every Voice" taught by my music teacher, Mr. King. As I heard my inner voice whispering "your voice," the idea for Lift Every Voice Empowerment Camp crystallized.
